[1 March 2013]

22 months old now, almost two years old. Please pray for me that I won’t have a “terrible two” phase. I heard sometimes I am starting to get quite difficult to deal with.

As any little boy out there my favorite things now are balls, cars, and video games. Although mama really tries to limit my video game time. I enjoy watching Doraemon, Momo, and Bob the tomato from veggie tales. Favorite food are fruits. I got that from my mom. Sometimes we fight over the fruit. She always lets me win though.

I don’t know if you know yet, but I am going to be a big brother in June. I like to help so I think I will be a good big brother.

I hope I can play with you soon. I’ll show you how to play the basketball shooting game (video). Please keep our family in your prayers.

[Practice makes perfect]

I always see Mommy and daddy use these long sticks when they eat, and i always grab them and try to copy what they do. It’s really hard so I end up just using them as drum sticks. They bought me a pair of training chopsticks. I still need their help to put it on my fingers and pick up the food, but I sure feel like an grown up! I’ll get the hang of it soon. :)

Daddy teaching me how to correctly hold the guitar. So when do I get to try the real thing? I know mommy will say “after I learn piano.” That’s what she said about drums too.

[Birthday Weekend]

I had a great birthday weekend.  Thank you mama and baba for planning it.  Special thank you to all my family and friends that celebrated with me.  Thank you for the generous gifts.  But most of all, thank you for love.  I am so blessed.  

May we have even more adventures together in this next coming year. Adventure is out there!!

April 27, 2012 [Happy Birthday]

A year ago today at 2:32pm after mom was in 38.5 hours of labor with a help of a vacuum extractor I entered the world. I turned my parent’s lives upside down. But I’m pretty sure they still love me.
Everything has been new and different for me. Each day I find something new and develop a new skill. From rolling over, to crawling, and now starting to walk. From just breastmilk to discovering all these new tastes and flavors. No words to weird babbling. I’m generally pretty happy and joyful. I thank God for my parents and all of you that love me and make me laugh. Although I can’t say anything yet I love all of you too.

This next coming year will also be filled with more growth and challenges. Please continue to pray for me. Pray that I will be healthy, grow taller, joyful, well behaved, and loving.

[Nostril] April 22, 2012

Ah ha! I found this hole on my face that I can stick my finger in. I think it’s called a nostril, and I have two of them. I know I’m going to get mom and dad so upset by testing what kind of things I can stick up them. Pray that I won’t do anything too dangerous. But no worries it’s just a phase. I will get over it, but for now please bear with my ill manners.

I don’t really like walking on my own. I know I can do it, but I much rather have someone hold my hand or just crawl.

I took my first steps today! So exciting and a bit scary. Things are sure different from this point of view. Sometimes I think crawling is easier and faster but I know walking’s the next step. I’m still trying to figure out this balance thing, but once I do, catch me if you can. :)
