[I’m sick]

Caught my very first cold last week. My guess is that I probably got it from a friend at daycare, and I also passed it to mom and dad. Mom’s recovering but dad is still feeling it. It’s the worst for me, I’ve never experienced this before and I am positive that I don’t like it. My nose is stuffed and I have to breathe through my mouth but then that makes feeding incredibly difficult. And since I don’t know how to blow my nose mom and dad have to use a suction bulb to suck out the mucus from my nose. I don’t like it. I scream, cry, and turn my head but they still somehow manage to get that thing up my nose. They even bought saline nose spray to help loosen up the mucus. However, that still didn’t prevent the mucus from going backwards towards my throat causing croup. Now when I cough I sound like a dog or seal. I haven’t been able to sleep well because whenever I cough it wakes me up. This makes sleep time hard for mom and dad. Mom is sure grumpy when I wake her up every hour. But I know they love me so much and wish that I would get better soon. They pray for me to be healed all the time. It’s been about a week.

To help me breathe better they put me on an incline to sleep so my head isn’t completely horizontal and it wont block The airway for my nose. I even get to sleep with them on the bed. Poor dad sleeps on the floor. See the picture?
